Lib Dem leader in trouble?
A man under pressure this weekend is Charles Kennedy, leader of the British Liberal Democrat party who has recently admitted that he has a problem with alcohol and is facing a leadership challenge from his own MPs. Of the 3 leaders of the main parties in britian, Kennedy is the one who would seem the most trustowrthy. Certainly he was the only one who called it right with regards to Iraq. I wish him well battling his personal demons but I wonder if leader of a large political party is really the problem employment for some one only emerging from the grips of addiction. Alcoholism is a terrible disease and I think Mr. Kennedy should perhaps concentrate on his recovery for the timebeing.
